PitMarker works best when the camera's
timecode is set to time of day — if it is, there's nothing to set here. If that's
not possible, read the camera's timecode display, type it below, and tap Sync the
moment it matches.
Digits only — colons are added as you type.
Back-time is optional. It shifts every exported marker earlier by this many seconds,
useful if you'd like markers to land a little before the moment you tapped.
Drop-frame rates aren't supported; use 25p/50p (PAL) or true 24/30/60.
Custom note
Past sessions
Sessions are kept for 30 days, then removed
automatically.
Export marker EDL
Exporting a past session.
Goes into the filename and EDL title — identifies this session
when files from multiple shoots travel together.
On the Mac or PC, open
in a web browser and enter this code. Valid for 24 hours.
What do I do with this EDL?
Save it into the same folder as this session's footage.
Import the footage and select the clips.
Run PitMarker — in Resolve: Workspace › Scripts › pitmarker.
In Premiere: Window › UXP Plugins › PitMarker.
Markers appear on the clips, colour-coded. Run it before you
start cutting.
No script installed?
Markers can be imported onto a timeline manually instead:
Put the clip at the head of a new timeline.
Set the timeline's start timecode to match the clip's start timecode.
Right-click the timeline in the media pool →
Timelines › Import › Timeline Markers from EDL.
These land on the timeline ruler rather than on the clips.
